This wonderful wooden chalet occupies a magical setting within a clearing in the woods close to the shores of Lake Windermere above the groundsman's quarters on the Pullwood Bay estate.

The surrounding grounds and gardens lead down to the lake and from here the views are simply breathtaking.  This timber building is aptly named alongside a few incredible specimen cedars and set out all on one level with access via the superb verandah, a perfect place for al-fresco living and a viewing point to watch the wildlife, all of which are very much at home in this sublime setting.

If searching for a contemporary and peaceful escape in the Lakes to recharge those batteries, then you will not find better than The Cedars.

The property is reached by going up the stairs onto the balcony, where the front door leads into the entrance hall.  To the left is the master bedroom, with a king-size bed, and patio doors opening out onto the balcony.  There is an en-suite bathroom with bath and over-bath shower.  TV with DVD player.

The second bedroom has a double bed with en-suite shower room and views to the woods.  Both bedrooms have wardrobes and a chest of drawers, providing ample storage space.

The spacious living / dining and kitchen area features leather sofas with TV and DVD player, as well as a CD player and i-Pod docking station.  The newly fitted kitchen includes dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric cooker and hob, and a microwave.

Laundry facilities are available on-site.
