Friday 27th February 2009 Words and Works by the Water! Today sees the start of a lively 10-day literature festival to be held at The Theatre By The Lake at Derwentwater. Monday 9th February 2009 The end of an era! The Wyke, which has the most fabulous location at Pullwood Bay Estates, right on the edge of Lake Windermere, finally reached the end of an era last week. The slightly elderly building has now been demolished and work has started on the replacement building ... which will be an amazing timber and stone property, still with the same fabulous views, but this time with 5* luxury. We will keep you informed of how the work is progressing, but please let us know if you would like to receive details of the completion date and prices as demand issure to be high for this gorgeous property.
