This beautiful first and second floor duplex apartment is set in an idyllic location being part of the wonderful Pullwood Bay Estate, just two miles from Ambleside on the west shore of Lake Windermere. Guests will be delighted with the superb lake and garden views from this delightful property which offers a perfect setting for relaxing amid glorious Lakeland scenery.  Grounds extend to fifty one acres with mature woodland, a home to wild deer, squirrels and a wonderful selection of birdlife. There is half a mile of lake frontage, a private jetty for dinghy launching and a shingle beach at the foot of the formal gardens. Pullwood Bay Estate is just two miles from Ambleside and within walking distance of the famous Drunken Duck  a favourite with visitors throughout the year.

Accommodation: First floor entrance into hallway. Coats cupboard. The spacious open plan kitchen/ dining room has garden views and is a really sociable space with ample room to enjoy lazy meals whilst you plan you busy days. The Poggenpohl kitchen area has a full range of integrated appliances. Also on this floor is a delightful superking double bedroom stunning lake view (en-suite shower room).

On the upper floor you will find the main living room with its amazing lake views and interesting roof lines, (42''flat screen TV with freeview, Bose music system, DVD, i-pod docking, wi-fi has variable signal due to location). The superking/ziplink bedroom has views to the woodland grounds and has adjacent bathroom with double ended bath, shower, basin and wc.  (please specify zip-link arrangement at time of booking). Both bedrooms have TVs.

Furnishings throughout are stylish and modern with a light colour scheme to complete the scene

Outside: Guests will enjoy the extensive shared grounds -  wide terrace faces out to the lake with steps and sweeping lawns down to the waterside. There are ample places to sit and relax whilst enjoying the beautiful setting. Boat owners can launch their dinghy by prior arrangement. There are several good pubs in the area, plenty of good local shopping in Ambleside, lake cruises from Waterhead and wonderful walks and rambles in beautiful countryside.  Parking for two cars
