Fieldside is reached up a private lane from the main drive through the estate and has its own South Westerly garden ideal for your barbecue or a quiet place to relax bounded by woodland to one side and overlooking open fields to the other. There are numerous walks to be enjoyed in the immediate area and the famous Drunken Duck is within walking distance (approx. half a mile). Don't miss a visit to nearby Wray Castle owned by the National Trust the grounds are a delight with many footpaths and a wonderful woodland outdoor play area for children of all age.
Accommodation: The usual entrance is by the back door into the well-equipped dining kitchen (bluetooth music system and radio/ipod docking station). 'A door leads through to the sitting room with dual aspect' the cosy front sitting room (flat screen TV with freeview, wi-fi, DVD, log burning stove) and then to the front inner hallway and front door to the garden.
On the first floor you will find two bedrooms a double with king-sized bed and a smaller twin. The family bathroom has bath with Mira shower over, basin and wc.
Furnishings throughout are comfortable and cosy with wooden flooring to the sitting room bedrooms. There are pleasant outlooks from all windows and the sitting room and main bedroom overlook the garden and neighbouring fields.
Outside: Parking at the cottage for two cars. Beautiful lawned gardens, lake shore and jetty. Bring you own canoes or hire locally. Boat launching by prior agreement.
